dCS 네트워크 스트리밍 플레이어 dCS Network Bridge 출시

dCS에서 발표한지 조금 되었습니다만 네트워크 브릿지라는 제품을 발표 했습니다.
 
dCS의 네트워크 브릿지는 네트워크 스트리밍이 지원되지 않는 과거의 DAC과 연결하기 위해 개발된 제품입니다. 즉, 디지털 출력이 가능한 네트워크 플레이어라고 생각하시면 됩니다.
 
하지만 구시대적인 플랫폼을 이용하는 것이 아니라 FPGA 디자인 기반으로 프로그램이 가능한 소프트웨어로 구동이 됩니다. 즉, 최근 각광받고 있는 Roon Ready가 지원되며 dCS가 자랑하는 오토-클럭킹 입력까지 지원 됩니다. 참고로 USB A 단자를 통해 USB 메모리나 외장 하드에 저장되어 있는 파일까지 아이패드를 통해 쉽게 재생할 수 있습니다.
 
여기에 그들이 자랑하는 최신 컨트롤 보드 플랫폼과 같이 멀티 스테이지 파워 레귤레이션 지원으로 클럭 시스템과 디지털 회로간의 간섭을 최소화 했습니다.
 
앞으로 최신 플랫폼의 지원도 새로운 소프트웨어의 적용으로 가능한 형태로 만들어 둬 제 개인적인 추측이지만 비발디와 로시나와 비슷한 수준에서 프로그램 업데이트는 지속될 것으로 보입니다.
 
무엇보다 DSD64와 DSD128을 DoP로 지원을 합니다. 즉, 기존의 상당수의 dCS DAC와 연결을 통해 DSD 재생이 가능하리라 생각합니다. 또한 AES/EBU를 통해 출력하기 때문에 분리형 SACD 플레이어의 DAC에 입력하여 작은 가능성이지만 호환이 되는 DAC가 나올지도 모르겠다는 생각입니다.
 
상당히 많은 DAC들이 24비트에 192kHz 디지털 입력이 가능합니다. 또한 초창기에 24비트 192kHz 샘플링 레이트의 USB 오디오만 지원했던 DAC에서 네트워크 플레이어의 음질을 구현할 수 있는 좋은 솔루션이 되리라 생각합니다.
 
가격 역시 합리적으로 책정되어 보다 많은 오디오파일들의 선택을 받으리라 생각합니다.

Word Clock Output on 1x BNC connector, carries Word Clock at the same frequency as the data rate up to 96kHz.
